Learn to love, love to learn, strive to serve
Welcome to St Margaret’s Website.
There is a place for everyone in our school and we try to be a shining light in our community.
At St Margaret’s Primary School, we always have a positive ethos which is underpinned by our strong Christian Values, which are consistently promoted in everything we do. Our children are taught to care for each other and understand that sometimes we all make mistakes and that it is important to show forgiveness and humility in order to grow in to a caring person and become a voice and ambassador for the future world.
We strive to prepare our children to go out into the world to make a difference to others. Knowing that even the smallest action by an individual can enhance people’s lives. Our SWITCH (See World Issues through Christian Hearts) Team led by our Church Worker help us to work on projects within our community and across the world. This year we raised funds to buy bicycles for young people in Uganda so they can get to school and get a good education. Regularly each Christmas we think of others and each class chooses a fund-raising project.
Everyone at our school works hard to meet the needs of all of our children and we are often praised by our parents and visitors by the care we give to our children. Our staff show patience and a willingness to always go that extra mile to support our families.
We really do want to promote the whole child in all aspects of learning, academically, socially and emotionally, so that they are prepared for their future in the best possible way and are able to have choices on their future path already having gained a wide variety of skills and knowledge at St Margaret’s Primary School.
We want our children to experience a broad and balanced curriculum so that they are excited about learning and have the opportunity to develop a wide spectrum of skills. All curriculum subjects are important and give our children an insight into being an Historian, a Scientist, an Artist, a Designer, a Geographer, a Musician, and lead active and healthy lifestyles.
But most of all we want our children to be the best they can be, enjoy learning and create a wonderful memory for their future.
Learn to love, love to learn, strive to serve
